We welcome you to visit our consignment and see additional entries.

Registered Shrop Ram – Majors 09-1143

DOB:  1/26/09 TW (his full sister is in our Shrop program)

Selling ½ interest –  you take possession

Sire:  2-Way (Adams Shrops)

Dam: Adams Shrops

This is our 2009 Keeper Shrop / RR/NN; We used him on a small group of ewes for 2010 lambs and  Have a super group of lambs. His sire, 2-Way sired the 2010  Shrop at the Midwest Elite. If you like size, correctness, bone and mass, “Curley” is the one to look at the Ohio Wether Sale, May 8th!

Here is another great yearling from our keeper pen

Majors1057 RR/NN
Sire:  SOG
Dam: Majors344

This consignment is even better than our last three years! 1057 is a very large scale massive ewe. She has a great spring of rib, big square hip and deep twist. She was bred for late February and we have kept her single ewe lamb, otherwise this ewe would not be leaving. SOG sired the 2008 champion ewe and Majors 344 was the dam of the 2007 reserve champion ewe lamb. A great genetic package to build on!

Bred Ewes For Sale

These are the only remaining bred ewes we will have available. They are from proven genetics and bred to produce competitive club lambs or will make a great addition to your breeding program. "SOS" produced the Champion Ewes in 2007 and 2009 at the Ohio Wether Sale. See our Ram page for additional information on the rams. Call or email for details and prices.

G08
RR/NN BD: 3/2006
Sire: SOG Son
Dam: Harms1044
Bred to SOG for Jan 24 lambs

We leased the “SOG” son to Gravlin’s in 2006 and acquired this ewe. She has size, stoutness and extension. Her lambs in 2009 were very eye appealing and brought $375 and $400 at our sale.

Majors 362
RRNN BD: 2/2006
Sire: “Lonestar”
Dam: Majors304
Bred to “SOS” for Jan 7 lambs

A massive “LoneStar” ewe… just too heavy right now. A super easy keeper and produces thick lambs. “SOS” will add extension and style to this great LoneStar ewe.

Majors 374
QR+ /NN BD: 2/2006
Sire: “401” Dam: Renn NS507
Bred to SOS for Jan. 25th lambs

The granddam… NS507 was a super milker and a “no-bother” ewe. We purchased her from Renn-Vue farms in 2005 and she had several keeper ewes. 374 is out of Ellerbrock 401 which puts style in her lambs. She’s a super easy keeper… a little heavy… she doesn’t need much!

Majors 1033 RR/NN

BD: 1/23/08
Sire: “WiseGuy” Dam: Majors781
Bred to SOS for Jan 21 lambs

781 is out of SOG and “217” an aged Lookout (Harms 2000) foundation ewe - we have 12 ewes out of this family … they are great mothers and easy keepers. This ewe has a lot of style and should also make competitive club lambs and keeper ewes. 217 produced two champions and one reserve champion ewe along with class winners… a great stud ewe.

Majors 1140 RR

BD: 1/17/09 TW
Sire: "2-Way" (Adams Shrops") Dam: Majors373
Bred to “Gold Card” for Feb. lambs

Majors 373 is out of a HarmsCD & Powerball, both larger scale sheep. The Adams Shrop buck has a ton of meat yet still adds style to the ewes. This is the first bred ewe we are selling out of 2-Way and the only one bred to “Gold Card” - these lambs are due Feb. 4th. This ewe should produce winners every year!! We don't usually breed the ewe lambs but wanted to offer a ewe out of "2-Way" bred to "Gold Card" - one of the most complete and structural sound bucks we’ve been able to locate.

Lot: ____ Majors 371 RR/NN

BD: 1/21/2006 TW
Sire: “Kahoona” Dam: Majors257
Bred to “SOG” for Jan. 2nd lambs

Kahoona was a Darell Howard ram that gave us length and structure. The dam to 371 was also a 7 year old foundation ewe. 371 is a larger capacity and good brood ewe. SOG should add extension and make eye appealing lambs. If you want early… these will be Jan 2nd!!

6039 RR/NN

BD: 1/00/2006
Sire: McIlrath Whiplash Dam: McKinny/Shell212
Bred to “LumberJack” for Jan. 21st

This ewe produced the high selling ewe lamb at the 2008 Ohio Sale. “LumberJack” is the Hancock “Timber” son on our website—they will be awesome lambs! We have 2 daughters out of her otherwise she would stay home! A genetic package for sure!

Majors 1108 TW QR+/NN

BD: 1/18/09
Sire: Wise Guy Dam: Majors 367

Dam was class winner in 2007. Dam is a Winfrey Lonestar ewe. Granddam was with us for 6 years. Great maternal traits to build off this ewe. WiseGuy adds size and extension along with structural correctness. We kept full sister for 2010 breeding. Bred to "LumberJack" for Feb. 12th lamb(s).

Majors 1148 TW RR/NN

BD: 1/16/09 TW
Sire: "SOG" Dam: Majors 256 ("Oakley")

This picture doesn't say enough for this fancy ewe lamb. She puts it all together... squre top, big hip, nice spring of rib and a great front along with a hampy head and legs. She has plenty of growth for Feb. 10th lambs. Bred to "SOS" - sire of one of our Reserve Champion ewes in Ohio (2007). SOG ewes bred to SOS has been a great combination for competitive lambs!
